I am a patent attorney with the Reston office of Harness, Dickey & Pierce. I reside in the Northern Virginia area and occasionally visit the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office to conduct interviews with patent examiners.
My practice focuses on patent preparation and prosecution in computer-related technologies, including software and electronics. Additionally, I have earned a Master of Computer Science degree, and I am currently studying Electrical Engineering at George Mason University in order to broaden my technical expertise. I have written software for a large number of projects on a variety of platforms, including MS-DOS, Windows, OSX, iOS, and the web. In furtherance of my current studies, I am developing proficiency with VHDL, the Arduino microcontroller, and rapid prototyping via 3D printing.
