I am a patent attorney with Artegis Law Group. I reside in the Northern Virginia area and occasionally visit the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office to conduct interviews with patent examiners.

My practice focuses on patent preparation and prosecution in computer-related technologies, including software and electronics. I hold technical degrees in Computer Science (Master’s), Electrical Engineering (Bachelor’s), and Biology (Bachelor’s), as well as a law degree from Case Western Reserve University.

I have written software for a large number of projects on a variety of platforms, including Windows, macOS, iOS, and the web, and in a variety of languages, including Python, C, C++, C#, and Objective-C. In my current studies, I am developing proficiency with VHDL, the Arduino microcontroller, and rapid prototyping via 3D printing. I am currently focusing on machine learning, and I am developing experience with building and training a variety of models using the latest platforms for application to an assortment of tasks and problems.
