Abstract: This application is a small utility for removing unwanted empty folders. "Unwanted" folders are identified as those that are present in a particular portion of a file system, and that do not appear in a list of empty folders that should be preserved. This unusual task is necessitated by (and intended for use with) the file synchronization package known as FolderMatch - which is an excellent utility for mirroring files, but which has a particular shortcoming: it does not remove empty folders in the targeted file system that do not exist in the source file system. This shortfall leads to a proliferation of empty folders that should be removed, which this utility can identify and eliminate.
