All projects were written by David J. Stein, Esq., and are works of sole authorship except where otherwise noted. Most of these works were written during free time. In most cases, the motivation behind the project was either professional curiosity, or a need to accomplish a specific goal (many of the software applications were developed to fill an unmet need.)

The resources linked herein (software, written notes, and other resources created by David J. Stein, Esq.) are made available to you free of charge, subject to the terms and conditions of one of two forms of software license. In most cases, the "Open License" applies, which permits fairly liberal use and distribution of the work, but solely for non-commerical purposes. In a few cases, a more restrictive "Closed License" applies that prohibits further distribution. The appropriate license document is included in the project package, and of course the current versions of both license documents are available on this website. The terms and conditions may change without notice, and subsequent versions posted here supersede the terms and conditions of the license included in the software packages.
